How to reach Lefkada

By car: via a floating bridge Rio-Antirio or Through the underwater tunnel of Aktion – Connect with Egnatia highway from Thessaloniki -Ongoing construction of Ionia Odos motorway

By Boat through the port of  Igoumenitsa and then by road (distance 95 km.). Alternatively there is the port of  Patra (distance 176 km.).

By Yacht The island has the most modern marina in Greece capable of berthing 500 vessels and premises: control tower, multipurpose building, naval group offices, office and shop assemblies, repair unit and vessel maintenance, parking 455 cars, winter residence areas 300 boats, roads and green spaces. It has a total length of 1,700 meters of quays and floating pontoons 940 meters long.

By Plane Aktion Airport (PVK) .The Aktion Airport is located on the west side of Central Greece, in Aktion area 4 km. from Preveza and 17 km. from Lefkada.

Lefkada Kitesurf

Lefkada is among the best Greek islands for kite surfing and windsurfing.
Particularly the beaches of Agios Ioannis and Vassiliki are the ideal places for these two wind sports.
The afternoon is the best time for kite surfing and windsurfing as the wind blows to the right direction.
If you don’t know how to surf, there are few sports centres on the island that rent equipment and offer courses for all ages.
Agrikies Villas is located 200 m from the beach of Agios Ioannis, the most amazing kite surfing spot in Lefkada.
The wind is thermal and ranges from 10 to 23 knots.
The wind starts blowing at noon every day, except for some rare days when there is rain or dark clouds.

Water Sports

Agios Ioannis beach in the summer flooded with hundreds of riders coming from all over the world to make kite surf and wind surf.
This beach has almost daily from May to September thermal winds north-westerly direction and intensity of 4-6 Beaufort, creating excellent conditions for sportsmen who have experience and good technique.
In recent years in Lefkada conducted international Kite surf competitions.
Vasiliki is a paradise of surfers. It is among the ten best in the world and among the three best in Europe for windsurfing.

Turquoise clear waters

White sand beaches, pine wood, beaches for relaxation or for sports entertainment! What else can you ask from a heavenly destination!

Kathisma – white pebbled sand and turquoise waters – the most cosmopolitan in Lefkada, organized with umbrellas, sun beds, beach bar and restaurants

Egremni – famous beach 2km long considered one of the best in the Mediterranean -impressive cliffs, turquoise clear waters.

Pefkoulia – Great sandy beach with clear waters and pine forest that reaches the sand. It is organized to a point but after the big rock is a nudist area.
